The therapy laser is a tool that we greatly value here at Animal Medical Hospital and use on a daily basis.  It works by way of low intensity light emissions close to the surface of the skin that penetrate through the tissue layers.  During a therapy laser session, the cells at the affected site absorb the light at a frequency that increases the metabolism.  This causes them to divide and regenerate much more quickly, repairing tissue.
